Lucky Tusk in Albemarle

We got there 45 min bwfore closing and it was moserately busy. The waitress was nice the foos came out quick and fresh. We all enjoyed it allot. It was our last night in New London/Albermarle area and w2r had a great breakfast, lunch and it was a great way to end with a great dinner.Highly recommend for Thai food and the sushi was good here too.

Absolutely loved our first time... So yummy! The sushi is amazingly fresh. Our server, don't remember her name, was wonderful. Lucky Tusk has a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. They made me a special plate BC I'm eating low carb, and I didn't even have to ask. We will definitely be back!

This place isn't very inviting from the outside, if you didn't know better, it looks closed and abandoned, BUT it's some of the best Asian food in Albemarle and very reasonably priced. We have tried other places in town and and they aren't nearly as good.

My friends and I love this place. The sushi is phenomonal. The freshness far exceeds the competitors. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I recommend this to everyone I meet looking for good oriental food in the area.

I can't honestly say I've had a more pleasant experience dinning anywhere else. The service was great and the food was excellent. If I ever get the chance I will definitely go back.

The food is good, but the wait time for food is too long and the wait time for the carry out is too long when you call ahead 20-30 mins before picking up your food.

Staff was very friendly and we were seated immediately. Our server was very helpful in assisting us with our food choices. Neither of us had been there before so we weren't sure what to order but she listened to our preferences, made some great suggestions, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. Food arrived very quickly and order was accurate. I ordered the Tom Yum and my s.o. ordered barbecue chicken. We shared a plate of sushi. Everything was delicious and our drinks stayed filled. Can't wait to go back!

Friendly staff and the food is excellent. You won't find a better Thai restaurant in the area or even Charlotte.

Great food! Lots of vegetarian options. On Tuesday apps are 20% off so we tried the shrimp rolls and they were delicious. I ordered the sweet and sour tofu and it was amazing. The tofu was cooked perfectly! My husband had the vegetable stir fry and he said it was very flavorful and filling. Highly recommend.

Amazing authentic Asian food in the middle of nowhere!! I couldn't, wouldn't believe it unless I tasted it for myself. I lived on Guam and used to eat something very similar at a little local Thai place.The lettuce wrap Larb was so shockingly amazing to my taste buds! It had a hint of something not in other recipes. Maybe it was lemongrass. I don't know, but we ate so much and then ordered it to go it was so good.Now I know I don't have to travel all the way to Guam, just to North Carolina. That makes me so happy!

Great sushi rolls and Tia food definitely going back

I ordered carry out for the first time yesterday & this was hands down the best sushi I’ve had and at an awesome price the spicy mayo and eel sauce was Devine!!!! I will definitely eat here again very very soon

I placed an order for something tasty and authentic after I got it back in two minutes I knew that it wasn’t and I still gave it a second chanceI ordered glass noodles everything was slimy in the shrimp was cold I handed the plate back in aside from the shrimp that I spit out I just feel like I’ve could’ve done something better with $30 so I did I ate at Whataburger

I used to love this place. But they mess up our order each time. Its a hit or miss. Not consistent with spice levels either, too spicy or not spicy at all. Never going back here. They made our food too greasy that the rice was floating in oil couple of times, so I make sure to tell them less grease and then they mess up the whole order. So disappointed!!

I must say, at first glance this restaurant doesn't look like much but don't let that stop you from going in! We were quickly seated. Our server helped us navigate through the menu and we ordered our lunch based on her suggestions. The food was very good. The only complaint was my husband ordered his food extra spicy and it did not come out as spicy hot as he wanted it. My food was perfect. We will definitely go back.

I ADORE THIS PLACE, however it suffers from long wait times when it comes to sushi and often has run out of basic ingredients like mangos or certain fish. Lovely staff, friendly and polite, great food , highly recommend

The quality of the fish is Excellent. I always order Sashimi and it's delicious.

Went for lunch with coworkers. It was understaffed with only one waitress, who struggled with getting my drink and food order correct, but I don't think they anticipated that many people. The food was great, the wait staff was polite, and we were in, out, and back to work within an hour and fifteen minutes despite taking the time to just sit and chat. I would definitely recommend giving them a try and would certainly eat there again.

Great place!! Lucky tusk serves sushi during the 3-5 pm unlike is counterparts that take a hiatus during this time. Had a feast and was completely satisfied.

First visit, don't let the exterior dissuade you, it was at one time a KFC, and it looks a bit rough around the edges, but the food is worth the trip. Enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio, a bit worried we'd be forgotten, but the staff was very attentive. Now to the food, Monday evening, chef's choice sushi is 20% off, my friend chose to order from there, we'll prepared, well presented. I had the calamari sushi, also well prepared. I appreciated the various sauces brought for us as well, a little "extra touch". Also tried the fresh spring rolls, as well as the Tom Kha soup, medium spice, probably my least favorite of everything we had, but still ok( vegetables were a bit large for a soup). I look forward to my next visit.

Absolutely top m notch. Best sushi and sashimi in town. Friendly staff reasonable prices. I've never had a less than pleasant dining experience here.

Wonderful green curry a little spicy for others in our party. Also tempora veggies were delicious.
